As a maestro whose voice transcended eras, his impact on the world of music remains immeasurable. From soulful classics that defined an era to versatile renditions across genres, Rafi's legacy continues to resonate, enchanting music enthusiasts across generations.
It has been 43 years after music legend passed away, yet he is alive in the evergreen songs which are heard and cherished for generations.
Rafi who started his career in the era of extraordinary composers and lyricists like - composer Madan Mohan, lyricist Raja Mehdi Ali Khan, Shankar Jaikishan, Hasrat Jaipuri, Shailendra, Naushad, Shakeel Badayuni, SD Burman, and Sahir Ludhianvi among others, sang for Dilip Kumar, Shammi Kapoor, Rajendra Kumar and Dev Anand with equal ease befitting each actor and his style.
