Muslim League Kerala's chief Sayed Hyderali Shihab Thangal dies at 74

Panakkad Sayed Hyderali Shihab Thangal, national chairman and Kerala state president of Indian Union Muslim League has died on Sunday. He was 74.

He died after fighting cancer for over a year.

Thangal, the tallest Muslim leader in Kerala was also the pesident of the Darul Huda Islamic Academy and the Vice President of the Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama.

Condolence messages started pouring in soon after the death was announced.
