Kerala: 4 migrant workers dead after landslip near Kochi
Four migrant workers have died and one is buried under the red earth after a major landslip was reported at a construction site near Kochi in Kerala on Friday.
At least seven workers are understood to have been trapped under the debris. Two men were rescued and their health is stable. Search is on for the seventh man who is trapped under the debris.
The incident happened when the workers were removing the earth for construction of godown of a private company in Kalamassery, near Kochi on Friday afternoon.
Fire force and police personnel are carrying out rescue operations.
