Ghaziabad admin asks Yati Narsinghanand to cancel Jama Masjid visit

On Monday, the Ghaziabad administration issued a notice to infamous hatemonger, Yati Narsinghanand, asking him to cancel his visit to Jama Masjid in Delhi on June 17, as he announced in a provocative speech shared on social media.

The notice says the visit will disrupt communal harmony. Narsinghanand, in the viral video, claimed that he would visit Jama Masjid along with the Quran and books on Islamic history.

“The notice was served upon Narsinghanand at his residence at Dasna Devi Mandir on June 7. We have not received any response from him yet,” a senior official said, according to The Indian Express.

Narshinganand is on bail in a case linked to the anti-Muslim hate speech he made last year.
