“Tasty and that’s it”: New McDonald’s to Russians

Russia reopened its former McDonald's restaurant with a new brand name named "Vkusno-i tochka," which translates to "Tasty and that's it," following the announcement of the US fast-food jumbo due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

The popular golden arches logo is now being replaced with a brand new one that resembles the letter “M”.

A huge mob rushed to the restaurants to have final bites of their favorite meals on the closure of McDonald’s. Surprisingly, Russians are protesting the return of the Big Mac and Mc Flurry as it’s missing on the new menu though the authorities claimed that it would only be a name change.

Their new logo reads: “The name changes, love stays."

According to Russian authorities, McDonald’s will have the option to buy back its outlets in Russia after 15 years.

After the ceasing of worldwide brands such as Starbucks, Coca-Cola, and Apple large international sanctions have been imposed on Russia, interrupting its distribution network and rising unemployment.

The exit announcement was made on 16 May this year due to the hostile war situation in Russia.
