The Palestinian folk song ‘Badaweih,’ featured in the upcoming Malayalam movie ‘Aadujeevitham’ (The Goat Life) and sung by Sanaa Moussa, is garnering attention and love.
Khatija Rahman, daughter of A. R. Rahman, shared her rendition of the song on Instagram, praising its ‘world-class vision.’
Filmmaker Blessy and actor Prithviraj Sukumaran’s project “Aadujeevitham” is set for release on March 28th, 2024, after over a decade in the making. The music, composed by A. R. Rahman, was launched with a grand event in Cochin on March 10th. The first track, titled the ‘Hope Song,’ featuring Rahman himself, was released soon after, with visuals depicting children affected by war, referencing the ongoing Israel war on Gaza.
