Kerala: TTE kicked out of moving train by passenger, killed

A TTE (Traveling Ticket Examiner) was killed after being pushed out of a moving train in Thrissur district in Kerala Tuesday evening.

The deceased is TTE K Vinod, who was reportedly run over by a passing train.

Odisha native Rajnikanth has been taken into custody by the Railway Protection Force.

According to reports, the remains of the TTE were found under the rail-over-bridge near Mulankunnathukavu. The incident occurred on the Patna-bound train originating from Ernakulam, the police added.

The accused, who was reportedly drunk, accused was traveling ticketless and refused to vacate his seat, according to Malayalam media.
