Delhi election results: Counting of votes at 8 am

The counting of votes for the Delhi Assembly polls will begin at 8 a.m. on February 8. Postal ballots will be counted first, followed by Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

The EVMs and VVPAT machines have been kept in 70 strongrooms and are secured by a three-tier cordon, Delhi Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) R. Alice Vaz said.

The voting for the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 concluded on February 5 with an overall voter turnout of 60.39%. The highest voter turnout in Mustafabad is 69%. Lowest was recorded in Karol Bagh 47.40%

Most exit polls on Wednesday predicted an edge for the BJP over the ruling AAP in the Delhi assembly polls, while the Congress was projected to make no significant gains.
